Product Information - Giusti raku plaques are made using the Japanese inspired method of hand carving and glazing using reducing firing conditions to achieve the colors seen in the images below. The reducing conditions create the crazed white glaze, the bright colors in the copper glaze, and the dark smoked clay body. Giusti raku plaques have been made by Tom and Nancy beginning in the 1984 and they have truly mastered the technique. Were carry the leaf designs and can order the other items seen on our web-site.
