Shown below are different hand made glass boxes by Susan Molnar of Glass House Designs. These boxes are made by fusing layers of glass together in a kiln at temperatures of about 1,400 degrees F. Each layer is built up by adding more glass and slumping the glass in a kiln.

If you click on the thumbnail, you will see an enlarged image of the glass box. The size of each box is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 x 2".
