Imagination and Objects of the Future
This suite consists of 11 lithographs with engravings of which 5 are with collage. The reason why there are 11 lithographs instead of the regular 10, is that the suite is an Artist Proof (EA) from the suite #XXII/XXV with text in English. The suite was published in 1975 by Merrill Chase, Chicago/Alan Rich, New York.
There is an introductory text of 6 pages (certificate of authenticity shown below, table of contents, publisher's preface, artist's prologue, and observations of the future by some famous people) and each lithograph comes in a chemise with text and the Merrill Chase watermark.
The text (this helps you figure out what you are looking at) is in English and this suite is #/250 printed on Arches.
The total tirage is 600. The image size is 28 1/2" x 21" and the full sheet is 30 3/4" x 27".
The entire suite is contained in a wooden box with a facsimile signature and a chemise holding the suite .
