Louis Icart Chilly One
His etchings epitomize the depiction of women during the art deco period.
He created in excess of 500 etchings using a combination techniques including
etchings and dry point with hand coloring as characterized in the book
"Buying Works by Icart." He created full sized etchings, erotic illustrated books,
beautiful pastel enhanced lithographs, menu covers, posters, postcards, advertising
prints, and oils on canvas.

This is a loose sheet that has been professionally conserved. The margins are very wide. The paper is wove with no watermark and may be a full sheet.
T There are no scratches, tears, rips, pinholes or foxing to the image or the sheet. This is a nice sharp image.
The signature (lr) is strong and there is the notation "77" (lr). There is the notation "113" in pencil in the (ll).
The copyright in the (ul) reads "Copyright 1924 by les Graveurs Modernes 194 Rue de Rivoli, Paris."
There is strong hand coloring in the lips. This is a strong impression with a good image and wide margins.
Overall the image is an A and the sheet an A.
