Louis Icart Reverie

His etchings epitomize the depiction of women during the art deco period.
He created in excess of 500 etchings using a combination techniques including
etchings and dry point with hand coloring as characterized in the book
"Buying Works by Icart." He created full sized etchings, erotic illustrated books,
beautiful pastel enhanced lithographs, menu covers, posters, postcards, advertising
prints, and oils on canvas.

The paper is heavy, white, wove with an ARCHES watermark. Wide margins with edges showing minor wear. The work has been professionally conserved and is very clean.
There are no pinholes, scratches, foxing, or tears to the image or sheet. The image is clean.
The signature (lr) is strong and the notation "82/100" and the blindstamp are in the (ll).
The hand coloring is very strong.
Overall this is a fine impression.
Overall the image is an A+ and the sheet an A+.
