Louis Icart Success

His etchings epitomize the depiction of women during the art deco period.
He created in excess of 500 etchings using a combination techniques including
etchings and dry point with hand coloring as characterized in the book
"Buying Works by Icart." He created full sized etchings, erotic illustrated books,
beautiful pastel enhanced lithographs, menu covers, posters, postcards, advertising
prints, and oils on canvas.

The paper is heavy wove. The work has been professionally conserved and there is no toning to either the image or the sheet.
There is no fading, foxing, light toning, pinholes, tears, or scratches.
The signature (lr) is in crayon and is strong; with the notation "80/100" (ll). The EM blindstamp is in the (lc).
The hand coloring is very good.
Overall the image is an A+ and the sheet is an A.
