Paradise Lost, Le Paradise Perdu - 1974
There are two versions of this book. One for the Automobile Club of Paris with 10 etchings and one with 9 etchings.
(a) - Published by Editions de Francony in 1974 for the Automobile Club of Paris. This edition contain the 10 etchings shown below.
The sheets have full margins, loose as issued with an image size of 10 1/2 x 8 1/8 in. and a sheet size of 15 x 14 7/8 in. This is one of book 23 of 150 on Rives published as a book with text interpreting chapter 4 of Paradise Lost by John Milton. Each of the etchings is signed and numbered Rives 23/150 with narrow margins published by Editions de Francony. This set comes with the blue portfolio case, justification page, and titled sheet inserts. The etchings have never been framed, have a rich burr, and are in fine condition.

(b) - Published by Editions de Francony in 1974. This edition contains the 9 etchings shown below. The sheets have full margins, loose as issued with an image size of 14 3/4 x 11 in. and a sheet size of 22 x 17 3/4 in. This is one of 225 copies on Lana published as a portfolio. Each of the etchings is signed and numbered Lana 157/225 with wide margins. This set comes with the portfolio case, justification page, and titled sheet inserts.
