Salvador Dali  L’Immaculee Conception (The Immaculate Conception), 1930

The Salvador Dali Etching L’Immaculee Conception (The Immaculate Conception) is contained in the book of the same title, the book written by Andre Breton and Paul Eluard, Edition Surrealistes, Paris, 1930. The book contains one etching, 7 7/8 x 6 1/8″ with a sheet of 9 1/8 x 7 1/4″ on Van Gelder Zonen. The etching is the frontispiece. The authors signed the justification page. This is book numbered 89 of 2116 or which the first 111 contained the etching. The pages are uncut. This is a fine example of this early work by Dali.
