The Salvador Dali Tristan et Iseult book was published in 1970.  Andre Mary wrote the book.   As illustrated by Dali, there are 21 full page color etchings 40 x 26.5 cm on 45 x 33 cm. The full page etchings bear the Dali’s initials and the frontispiece is signed. Available are #89 of 125 in English printed on Mandeure paper and #80/125 on Rives in German.  I guarantee the artwork to be authenic.

Dalí was known for his role in Surrealism. He was also a seminal example of celebrity showmanship and the cult of personality, a phenomenon that dominates popular culture today. Dali was always a colorful and flamboyant presence. This is reflected by his signature cape, wide-eyed expression and trademark upturned waxed mustache, Dalí was a master of self-promotion and spectacle. The total tirage is 587. An edition of 125 on Mandeure in English exists (#1/125 – #125/125). Another edition comprises 125 on Rives in German. Additionally, 125 are on Lana in Italian and 125 on Arches (script) in French. Finally, 75 appear on Japon (A/LXXV – LXXV/LXXV) without text and feature a larger sheet.
