Condition Report

Image Size: 20 3/4 x 15 1/2″ (oval)
Paper Size: 22 1/2 x 18″ (rectangular)

This is a loose sheet with a RIVES watermark. The etching has not been conserved.
There are smudgemarks from printing in the margin and up to the image. There are 3 1″ repaired tears (tape) from the margin none going into the image. There is a 9″ mark (it is an area where there is no ink) extending on the left arm, and two other areas in the images where it appears that there was a hair on the plate and ink is missing on the image.
The signature (lr) is strong.
All of the coloring in the image is very strong hand coloring. This is a strong impression. but is an actual rough proof.
No rating. I think the sheet can be cleaned up and the areas that are missing ink inpainted and the work will look very good.

Price $1,000.00 (unframed) Framing in the style of Icart is available.
